  • Hersheys

The Hershey Company is the largest North American chocolate manufacturer. Hershey markets such iconic brands as Hershey's, Reese's, Hershey's Kisses, Kit Kat, Twizzlers, and Ice Breakers. Thanks to a staggering 2,000 bars of Hershey's milk and dark chocolate, in addition to several boxes of Reese's Pieces, the expedition will be a chocoholic's dream. Yet there is a bigger purpose than satisfying sweet teeth to carrying 160+ lbs. of chocolate to Mt. Everest. Expeditions to remote and cold places like Antarctica, the North Pole and the High Himalaya have traditionally carried chocolate with them because of the delectable bars' high number of calories and fat, and their soothing effect on the constitutions of expedition members.

  • sponsor-hyatt

    Hyatt

Hyatt is the exclusive provider of lodging during the expedition's stay in Kathmandu, Nepal. "The best part of finishing the expedition was returning to the amazing splendor of the Hyatt hotel in Kathmandu." -Mike Kobold following the 2008 expedition to Mt. Everest. • sponsor-shell

Shell Oil has agreed to become the expedition's official fuel sponsor. Nepal is a country in which gasoline shortages do occur from time to time and with Shell Oil's commitment we are ensured prompt and continuous (if needed) fuel supply at Base Camp.
